• BLE 5.1

The iNode Beacon is a tag that functions as an iBeacon or proximity beacon. It enables the creation of indoor navigation systems and the marking of locations, such as shops. When a smartphone or tablet app detects a beacon with a specific UUID, it can provide the user with location-related information – such as displaying text or playing an audio file, for example in an interactive guide to a museum or exhibition. An optional app authorisation password protects against the app being copied.
The BT 5.1 version is configured via the iNode MQTT Monitor app (Android) and, by default, sends an iBeacon frame containing the battery voltage and temperature.
The BT 4.0 version uses an LED to indicate when it is within the scanner’s range, has an adjustable broadcast interval of 0.3–10 s, and can emulate any BLE proximity beacon device (e.g. in the Eddystone format) – simply enter its frame data.
